On the afternoon of January 29 (local time), at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, Yoo Yeon Seok was awarded the Rookie Award in the Talk/Reality category for his work in 'Whenever Possible'. In his acceptance speech, Yoo Yeon Seok humbly introduced himself as a 'new MC' and said, "Actually, I didn't win the Rookie Award at 'Acting', but I'm very grateful to have received the Rookie Award at the 'Entertainment Awards'."
"Starting with 'Whenever Possible,' I had the precious opportunity to meet and interact with the public and listen to their stories," he continued to express his gratitude. "It was an extremely valuable experience as an actor. I was grateful for that, but I'm even more grateful for this award."
Yoo Yeon Seok also shared his thoughts on the challenges he faced when he first stepped into the role of MC: "As an actor, I'm used to memorizing scripts and performing, so I was initially worried about doing Whatever Possible without a script. Hosting the show with national MC Yoo Jae Suk was also a big burden, but the production team made it so fun that it received a lot of love."
Yoo Yeon Seok ended with a cheerful comment, thanking Yoo Jae Suk, who helped him step into the world of MC: "He's like a mother to me in the MC industry, so can I call him my 'M-mom'?" Yoo Yeon Seok's comment made the audience laugh.
