On the February 14th broadcast of KBS2’s Music Bank, IVE’s latest tracks, ‘Rebel Heart’ and ‘Attitude’, went head-to-head for first place. This internal battle highlighted the group’s dominance, with ‘Rebel Heart’ ultimately taking the win.
Despite being pitted against each other, the IVE members embraced the friendly competition, splitting into two teams to cheer for both songs. With this latest win, ‘Rebel Heart’ has now secured 10 music show trophies, bringing the total count for the ‘IVE EMPATHY’ album to 11 crowns.
IVE expressed their gratitude through their agency, Starship Entertainment, saying, “It was amazing to see both ‘Rebel Heart’ and ‘Attitude’ nominated for first place. We owe this meaningful experience to our fans, DIVE, and everyone who loves our music.”
This isn’t the first time IVE has competed against themselves. In 2023, their tracks ‘Kitsch’ and ‘I AM’ from their first full-length album also battled for top spots. The fact that both their pre-released tracks and title tracks continue to chart so strongly reflects their status as the ‘Queens of Music’.
‘Rebel Heart’ continues its impressive global run, maintaining its Perfect All-Kill (PAK) on Korean charts while also ranking on Billboard’s ‘Global 200’ and the UK Official Charts. With such dominance both domestically and internationally, IVE’s reign in the music industry remains unshaken.
