Actress Jessica Alba has officially filed for divorce from her husband, film producer Cash Warren, ending their nearly two-decade-long marriage.
The couple submitted divorce papers to a Los Angeles court on February 7, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their separation. Their official date of separation was listed as December 27, 2024. Both Alba, 44, and Warren, 46, have requested joint custody of their three children: Honor (17), Haven (14), and Hayes (7). The details regarding financial support will be determined later. Alba has also requested to revert to her maiden name, Jessica Marie Alba, from Jessica Marie Warren.

Rumors of marital trouble had been circulating since early 2024, as the couple was repeatedly spotted without their wedding rings. Their last public appearance together was in November, when they attended a basketball game in Los Angeles. Although Alba continued to share family moments on social media for occasions like Thanksgiving and Christmas, she noticeably did not include Warren in her year-end reflections. On January 4, she posted a family outing to Universal Studios for her son Hayes' seventh birthday, but it was unclear when the photo was taken.
On January 16, Alba publicly acknowledged the breakup in an Instagram post, stating:
"I have been on a journey of self-awareness and change over the years—both personally and in my relationship with Cash. I am proud of how we have grown together over the past 20 years, and now it is time for both of us to start a new chapter on the path of growth and self-improvement. We will move forward with love, kindness, respect for each other, and forever as a family. Our children remain our top priority, and we ask that everyone give us privacy at this time."
The divorce marks the end of one of Hollywood’s long-standing marriages, as Alba and Warren had been together since meeting on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004.
