On his personal YouTube channel, Cha Eun Woo recently posted a heartfelt cover of Shin Seung Hun's song After A Long Time as a tribute to his late friend and fellow ASTRO member, Moonbin. The emotional performance conveyed Cha Eun Woo's deep longing and love for Moonbin on what would have been his birthday.

Accompanying the video, Cha Eun Woo shared a poignant message:
*"Happy Birthday, Binnie. How are you?
I've been missing you more than usual these days.
There are so many things I wanted to tell you over drinks, but now there's no one to share them with.
I'm sorry I couldn't visit you as often as I did last year.
The more I think about you, the harder I work because that's what you wanted, right?
But lately, I’ve started to feel overwhelmed. Haha, I don’t know... Am I okay?
Your absence leaves me feeling so empty.
I miss you so much.
I love you.
Happy Moonbin Day."*

In addition to the YouTube post, Cha Eun Woo shared a touching photo on Instagram featuring himself with Moonbin and the other ASTRO members. He also visited Moonbin’s memorial, leaving behind snacks that Moonbin loved as a meaningful gesture to honor his memory.
Cha Eun Woo has opened up about his grief in previous interviews. In May 2024, he appeared on the show You Quiz On The Block, where he candidly discussed his personal struggles and how he has coped since Moonbin’s passing.
Reflecting on the loss, Cha Eun Woo shared, *“Last year was particularly difficult for me. I wrote the lyrics for my album this year with a lot of things I wanted to express. People forget so easily, and that made me sad. I thought about how to make something meaningful and memorable.
I cried a lot while writing the lyrics. I still can’t sing that song... I feel so guilty. He often appears in my dreams. When someone asks, ‘Are you okay?’, I don’t want to say whether I’m okay or not. So, the path I chose was to live better and do better because I think that’s what he would have wanted.”*
In his heartfelt message to Moonbin, Cha Eun Woo added, “Binnie, are you okay? I miss you. Don’t worry about me—I’m finishing everything you wanted to share. Let’s meet again someday.”
Cha Eun Woo’s honest and emotional tributes have deeply moved fans, serving as a reminder of the enduring bond between him and Moonbin. His efforts to keep Moonbin's memory alive continue to resonate with fans and the ASTRO community.
