Minzy, Hani, Daniel, Haerin, and Hyein, who recently announced their new start as NJZ, have unveiled their first group photo under their new name.
On February 9, the official NJZ account shared a heartwarming selfie of the five members, captioned, "Group selfie after a long time." The photo captures the girls smiling brightly, making V poses, and showcasing their individual personalities.

The group also left a message for their fans, affectionately called Bernies, saying, "I think I had a really fulfilling day today. I hope Bernies stay warm and listen to good music."
The dispute between NewJeans and ADOR continues, with NJZ officially announcing their independence through Complex Chinese. They expressed their determination, stating, "This rebranding is a way to turn difficult times into something enjoyable. There is nothing stopping us anymore."
In response, ADOR, NewJeans’ agency, expressed their stance, saying, "We deeply regret that the members made this decision before a legal ruling on the validity of their contracts. We remain open to discussions with the members or their legal representatives to resolve misunderstandings and discuss their future."
The legal conflict began last November, when the five members declared the termination of their contracts with ADOR. In response, ADOR filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court, seeking to confirm the validity of their exclusive contracts. The agency is also applying for an injunction to maintain management rights and prevent independent advertising deals.
The case is expected to escalate in March, as the legal battle enters a critical phase.
