Chinese media recently compiled a list of the most popular characters from currently airing dramas for the week of January 20-26.
Leading the list once again is Ao Ruipeng, who holds the top spot with his role in "Moonlight Mystique" gaining 398,100 new fans compared to the previous week.
Although praised for his on-screen chemistry with Bai Lu, Ao Ruipeng’s acting is still seen as adequate, though not particularly exceptional.
In second place is his co-star Dai Lu Wa with an increase of 310,300 fans. This rise in popularity comes as no surprise, as Dai Lu Wa has recently received widespread acclaim for her captivating appearance and refined acting. She even revealed that she went on a temporary diet to maintain the signature look of her character, including a red diamond in the center of her lower lip.
Bai Lu, who portrays role in "Moonlight Mystique," ranks third, adding 229,800 fans. Meanwhile, her co-star Chang HuaSen comes in fourth, with an increase of 218,300 fans.
In fifth place is Miles Wei from "Flourished Peony" with 83,900 new fans. Zhu Xudan, who stars in "Cao Xuanxuan's Love Journey," ranks sixth, gaining 81,100 fans.
The remaining spots on the list go to Li Xian, who plays role in "Flourished Peony" with a gain of 79,400 fans, and Cheng Hong Xin, who portrays role in "Moonlight Mystique" with an increase of 77,700 fans.
