On February 1 (KST), BTS leader RM took to Weverse to share his Lunar New Year greetings and provide fans with updates on his military service.

In his heartfelt letter, RM reflected on time passing, saying, "I can't believe I'm already 32 years old. I feel like I haven't done anything yet. But I was finally promoted to sergeant, and I believe the other members will also be promoted soon. My next promotion will be to civilian, and that makes me happy."

He also mentioned the BTS members who have already completed their service, expressing both admiration and anticipation. "Seeing the two members who have finished their duties standing strong makes me both jealous and relieved. There are so many things I want to say when I return as Kim Namjoon, a civilian. Though I can't say everything now, I believe I will one day convey them in my own way. It's already February—only about four months left until discharge."

RM also gave fans a glimpse into his current daily routine, which includes exercising, playing the saxophone, listening to music, watching movies, and studying in preparation for his return. He encouraged fans to stay healthy as well.

RM enlisted in December 2023 as a member of the ROK military band and is set to be discharged on June 10, 2025.
