aespa has earned multiple nominations at the upcoming 22nd Korean Popular Music Awards, as announced on February 6. The group has been nominated in five categories, including Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Best K-Pop Song/Album.
The Korean Popular Music Awards, celebrating its 22nd anniversary, will recognize outstanding achievements in the Korean music industry. This year, 54 members of the selection committee, including critics, media music reporters, and music content planners, participated in the nomination process. The awards will be presented in 26 categories across three main sectors.
Other notable nominees include Lee Seung Yoon with four nominations and Sumin & Slom with three nominations. The award ceremony, supported by Prism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Creative Content Agency, will be live-streamed on February 27 at 8 p.m. KST.
