The upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards ceremony, set to take place on February 2 (local time) and hosted by Trevor Noah, is shaping up to be a celebration of music’s power to uplift and unite. This year, the ceremony will not only honor the brightest stars in music but also aim to raise funds to support those impacted by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Due to the tragic circumstances, many traditional Grammy events have been canceled, but the focus remains on the positive impact music can make.
Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, stated, “The upcoming Grammy Awards will not only honor the best in music this year but also show how the power of music can help rebuild and support those in need. We are thrilled that so many artists are coming together to show support for their colleagues and others affected by the bushfires.”

Charli XCX has garnered eight nominations, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Sabrina Carpenter and Chappel Roan are both first-time nominees, competing in prestigious categories like Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
Other stars gracing the stage include Billie Eilish, a nine-time Grammy winner, who is nominated for seven awards in 2025. Shakira, a three-time Grammy winner, is also on the list, nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for her 12th studio album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.
This year's ceremony promises to be a momentous event, not only recognizing the best in music but also demonstrating the industry’s collective effort to make a difference in times of crisis.
