Tomorrow X Together’s Taehyun and Huening Kai have lent their voices to the OST of Netflix’s original series ‘Melo Movie’, with their song ‘Surfing in the Moonlight’ released on February 14 across various music platforms.
The track is a bedroom pop song that evokes a dreamlike atmosphere, depicting two lovers flowing freely under the moonlight. Its lo-fi sound and kitschy lyrics, featuring phrases like “cheap champagne” and “broke-down van”, add a nostalgic, fairy tale-like charm.
‘Melo Movie’ is a romance drama starring Choi Woo-shik, Park Bo-young, Lee Jun-young, and Jeon So-ni, following young individuals navigating love, dreams, and personal growth. It premiered worldwide on Netflix on February 14.
Taehyun and Huening Kai previously sang ‘Can't Stop’, the opening song for ENA’s drama ‘Drunken Romance’, receiving praise for their sweet vocals. With this new OST, anticipation is high for their continued success in drama soundtracks.
Meanwhile, TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Huening Kai) is set to embark on their ‘ACT: PROMISE’ world tour, kicking off in Incheon from March 7-9, before heading to Europe, Japan, and Macau.
