YG Entertainment confirmed on February 5th that BabyMonster's pre-debut song "Batter Up" has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube. The milestone was reached at approximately 11:44 PM on February 4th, just 1 year and 2 months after its release on November 27, 2023.
"Batter Up" quickly became a global sensation, ranking first on the global YouTube daily music video chart for five consecutive days after its release. The music video topped the weekly chart and reached 100 million views in just 18 days and 200 million views in 53 days.
With this achievement, BabyMonster now has two videos with over 300 million views. The music video for their debut mini-album "SHEESH" also hit the 300 million mark, setting a record as the fastest debut K-pop girl group song to reach this milestone, following 100 million views in 10 days and 200 million views in 33 days.
Additionally, BabyMonster’s official YouTube channel has surpassed 8.35 million subscribers and accumulated over 3.7 billion views.
