Apple TV+ has officially premiered KPOPPED, a groundbreaking reality show featuring Gangnam Style star PSY and three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion.
The eight-episode series merges Western music with K-pop, as global artists team up with K-pop idols to deliver electrifying performances. Fans will have the chance to vote for the ultimate winner in a live finale held in Seoul.
Produced by industry heavyweights including Lionel Richie, CJ Vice President Miky Lee, and Megan Thee Stallion, KPOPPED also features top CJ ENM executives Shin Hyung Kwan and Hong Joon Ki, known for their work on K-pop music programs.
This marks a rare venture into reality TV for Apple TV+, following its country music competition My Kind of Country (2023) and the documentary Kpop Idols.
Adding to the excitement, Megan Thee Stallion will perform her hit Savage, while PSY—credited with globalizing K-pop—returns to the spotlight after previous reality show appearances like Loud and Heroes of Remix.
