Hanni, who holds dual Australian and Vietnamese citizenship, reportedly refused to sign documents prepared by Adore for her E-6 artist visa extension, leading to its expiration earlier this month.
Speculation arose that signing the documents would imply recognition of an exclusive contract with Adore, a claim the agency declined to confirm.
With legal battles ongoing between New Jeans and Adore over their contract, the group faces domestic activity restrictions. As a result, they are shifting focus overseas, debuting under the name "NJZ" at Complex Live in Hong Kong this March. Meanwhile, court hearings on their contract dispute are set for March 7 and April 3.
