Cosmosy, the rising global girl group, has signed a label contract with Sony Music Korea, one of the world's top three record labels.

On February 3, Sony Music Korea announced their partnership with Cosmosy, expressing full support for the group's global music activities. CEO Joo Young-chan praised the group's unique musical style, stating, “We recognize Cosmosy’s potential and aim to introduce their new charms to listeners worldwide.”

An official from Docomo Studio & Live, Cosmosy’s agency, added, “We will actively support Cosmosy’s efforts to establish themselves as a global girl group through this collaboration with Sony Music Korea.”

This partnership is noteworthy, as Cosmosy, a group made up entirely of Japanese members (including a'mei, de_hana, himesha, and kamion), is stepping onto the global stage with the backing of Sony Music Korea, instead of a Japanese label.

As part of the contract, Sony Music Korea will officially release Cosmosy’s debut single “zigy=zigy” on February 7 across music platforms worldwide. The song, which blends Afropop with traditional oriental sounds, was pre-released as a music video on December 31 and quickly surpassed 10 million views, signaling Cosmosy’s potential as a global rookie.

In addition to the official release, Cosmosy will engage with global fans by sharing various follow-up content on their official YouTube channel.
