Jisoo will release her highly anticipated mini album AMORTAGE at 2PM KST on February 14, available on all online music platforms in Korea and internationally.
At 0:00 on January 27, BLISSOO's management company officially unveiled the release schedule for AMORTAGE through its social media accounts. The announcement featured a sophisticated visual design, revealing the album's name for the first time.
AMORTAGE is a creative blend of “AMOR” (Latin for love) and “MONTAGE” (a film-editing technique combining different scenes to convey meaning). This mini album is described as an emotional journey, exploring the intricate layers of love, much like a romantic film built scene by scene to tell heartfelt stories.
Leading up to her Valentine's Day release, Jisoo will delight fans with exclusive content, including the album cover, concept poster, and music video teaser. Fans are eagerly awaiting the fresh visuals and heartfelt narratives Jisoo will share in her new work.
Following her success with BLACKPINK and the solo hit FLOWER, AMORTAGE marks Jisoo's return as a solo artist after two years. Her multidimensional talents and charisma promise to shine even brighter with this release.
Additionally, Jisoo will make her acting comeback in Coupang Play's original series NEWTOPIA, playing the role of Youngjoo. The series is set to air on February 7, further showcasing her versatility as an entertainer.
