TWS and KATSEYE have been named among the most promising new artists in the global music market for 2025. On February 13, Pledis Entertainment and HYBE x Geffen Records announced that both groups were featured on NME's "The NME 100: Essential Emerging Artists for 2025" list.

This annual list highlights 100 rising global artists selected by NME in collaboration with music critics and journalists.

TWS gained global attention last year by winning 13 awards, including 7 rookie awards, with their debut song First Encounter Doesn’t Go as Planned. They continued to captivate audiences with their fresh, youth-driven melodies. NME praised them for their unique approach, stating, "Unlike typical K-pop boy groups with grand concepts, TWS takes a more realistic approach to youth, making it only a matter of time before they take over the world."

Meanwhile, KATSEYE secured their spot on the list due to their success following Dream Academy, as well as their achievements with their debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong). Their song Touch charted on Billboard 200 and Pop Airplay for 13 consecutive weeks, and they reached 100 million Spotify streams in just 82 days. NME highlighted their ability to blend K-pop’s precision with Western pop’s smoothness, predicting their rise as global icons.
