K-pop group Big Ocean has released a meaningful new track. Their song BrightT dropped on February 10 via the music platform Flo, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the SK Telecom Happy Coding Challenge.
A collaboration between SK Telecom, the Korea Disabled People's Federation (KDFFF), Parastar Entertainment, and Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation, BrightT carries a hopeful message—“tomorrow will shine brighter.” The title blends the meanings of “bright” as both “shining” and “smart.”
As part of last year’s Happy AI Coding Challenge, participants used AI to generate lyrics and album artwork, with Big Ocean bringing the song to life using AI-powered voices. Their agency, Parastar Entertainment, also plays a key role in SK Telecom’s startup incubator programs, reinforcing the project’s impact.
Big Ocean expressed excitement about the song, noting its inspiring lyrics and energetic melody. The group will continue their journey with their first solo concert, Follow, set for March 9 at the Toyota Civic Cultural Center in Nagoya, Japan.
