Park Bom has once again become the center of controversy due to her continued erratic behavior, prompting fans to call for her removal from 2NE1’s activities.
On February 15, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union released an official statement demanding that Park Bom be excluded from the group's future projects. They cited multiple issues, including her ongoing SNS controversies, unprofessional attitude during tours, and on-stage behavior that they deemed unacceptable.
Fans Express Disappointment Over Park Bom’s Actions
The fan union criticized Park Bom’s repeated impulsive actions, stating, "One time is a mistake, but her consecutive controversial actions mislead the other 2NE1 members and fans who have supported the group for over a decade." They went on to describe her behavior as a "time bomb" and a "nuisance" that tarnishes the group's reputation.

Recently, Park Bom caused an uproar by repeatedly calling actor Lee Min-ho "my husband" on social media and sharing pictures of him, fueling so-called "self-dating rumors." When an overseas fan asked, "Is it for real?" she answered, "Yes," and later suggested that her company had deleted the posts. While her agency attempted to downplay the issue, stating it was "caused by fandom," fans have continued to express concern over her unpredictable behavior.
In addition to the SNS controversy, fans also pointed out her insincere attitude during recent concerts. They accused her of frequently leaving the stage mid-performance, citing health reasons, and prioritizing her appearance over her stage presence. "She only cares about her looks and does not show sincerity," they stated, expressing disappointment.
Official Statement from the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union
"We, the 2NE1 Gallery Fan Union, have decided that we can no longer tolerate Park Bom's continued SNS issue controversy, her insincere attitude during the tour, and her insincere on-stage behavior that is difficult to accept due to health reasons. Therefore, we officially request that Park Bom be excluded from 2NE1 activities.
One time was a mistake, but her repeated unexpected behavior is extremely misleading to the 2NE1 members and the fans who have waited for her for over 10 years. Park Bom's unexpected behavior, which only she knows about, has a significant negative impact on the team's reputation, and Park Bom's actions, which are like a time bomb, are deceptive behavior that we can no longer tolerate. She has disappointed fans with her continued unexpected behavior without any consideration for the precious time they have waited for, and we have decided that we can no longer tolerate her insincere behavior and annoying behavior that causes damage and inconvenience to all parties.
Even at concerts, she has an insincere attitude, often leaves the show in the middle, and acts in a way that is difficult to accept due to health reasons. And then, Park Bom's lack of sincerity on stage, only caring about her own beauty, has caused disappointment and loss of trust among numerous 2NE1 fans both domestically and internationally, and above all, her impulsive behavior of mentioning an actor on SNS has become difficult to control as she has repeated several times, and we, 2NE1 fans, would like to apologize to the actor and fans who have been harmed by Park Bom.
We believe that continuing with Park Bom, who is not in good health or anything else, will cause great harm to the team, and so we request that Park Bom be excluded from official 2NE1 activities going forward."
2NE1’s Upcoming Concert Plans

Despite the controversy, 2NE1 remains active. The group recently held a full-group concert for the first time in over a decade, celebrating their 15th anniversary with an Asian tour. They are set to continue their activities with the 2025 2NE1 CONCERT WELCOME BACK ENCORE IN SEOUL on April 12 and 13 at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Seoul.
