According to a Seoul Economic Daily report on February 13, multiple complaints have been filed against a company for violating the Fraud and Similar Receipt Act. The company allegedly stole Lim Young-woong's image, falsely promoting investments in renewable energy projects like solar power while embezzling funds. Reported damages range from 1 million to 900 million won per victim.
In response, Lim Young-woong’s agency, Fish Music, acknowledged the fraudulent advertisements and stated they are monitoring the situation while considering legal action.
Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong recently released his concert film, Lim Young-woong: I’m Hero the Stadium, on Netflix across several countries, including Korea, the U.S., Japan, and Taiwan.
