Jimin shared the following message with fans via Weverse:
“ARMYs, this is Jimin.
I enlisted in December two years ago, and now the year has changed twice. I’ve been in the military for about a year and two months, and yes... I really feel that the time spent here is different.
It’s not always easy, but there are things I’ve felt and learned, so I’m looking forward to the upcoming days when I can happily talk with you about what’s happened.
Well, my daily life hasn’t changed much. Since this is the military, after training, doing daily work, and exercising, a day passes, and it’s time for sleep. I live like that every day.
If there’s anything different, it’s that after the New Year came,
the conversations between Jungkook and me before bed have changed a lot.
Since the day we’ll meet ARMY again is coming closer, we think about the time we’ll meet, talk a lot about what to prepare before we meet, or what sides of ourselves we’ll show, and how we’ll live from now on, and so many other things.
Actually, there’s also a little bit of fear. Time hasn’t been short, we haven’t performed together for a long time, and it’s been a while since we’ve dedicated ourselves to performances and music, so I’m a bit scared.
But my desire to give you, the ones who’ve waited until now, a wonderful performance hasn’t changed.
I will really try my best to prepare..
I’ll do my best and return as a truly good version of myself.
