On February 10, Daniel McCartney, a music representative from 33&West, announced via Instagram Story that he would no longer be working with Kanye West. McCartney stated that the decision was "effective immediately" due to the rapper’s "harmful and hateful views," which he and his company could not accept.
Following the announcement, West’s name was removed from the official 33&West website. According to Billboard, the outlet reached out to the management firm for further comment, but they declined to respond. West’s team has also not issued any statements regarding the situation.
This marks another professional fallout for Kanye West, who has faced multiple controversies in recent years. Despite his influential career in music and fashion, his outspoken and often controversial statements have led to severed ties with various industry figures and brands.
