Macaulay Culkin, the Home Alone star, has turned his life around, finding happiness with fiancée Brenda Song and their two children, Dakota (3) and Carson (2).
In a new Cosmopolitan feature, the couple shared intimate details about their relationship. Culkin proposed casually, and though Song didn’t mind not marrying, she has worn his engagement ring—worth more than his apartment—for years.
At home, the two embrace a simple life, raising their children without a nanny. Mornings start with soccer games, and Culkin showers Song with flowers. In their free time, they bond over video games and Legos.
The couple first met in 2014 and reconnected in 2017 while filming Changeland. Song, who had frozen her eggs, had nearly given up on love. Their bond deepened when they both wanted to name a child Dakota, honoring Culkin’s late sister.
Despite past struggles—including Culkin’s troubled teen years and addiction—he credits Song for giving him purpose and family. Their love became public in 2023 when Brenda and their children supported him at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
