Netflix has confirmed that Squid Game will return for its third and final season on June 27, just six months after season 2. Unlike the long wait between the first two seasons, season 3 was filmed alongside season 2 and will feature seven episodes.
The streaming giant released a new poster and stills, teasing what’s next for Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), and other key characters. Creator Hwang Dong Hyuk expressed excitement, stating, “We will do our best to bring you another thrilling adventure.”
Netflix's latest earnings report revealed that season 2 had 165.7 million views in Q4 2024, positioning it as one of the platform’s most-watched series.
